High Fidelity Sine

The 3L Power Solid State Variac generates a variable, differential, high-fidelity sine wave output between single milliVolts and 135 Vac, at variable frequency. Originally designed for utility test equipment, the output is a pure sinewave with DC output actively controlled to zero. The variac uses the latest technologies in a neutral point clamped topology for the smoothest, quietest output in the smallest package. The result is product that is an order of magnitude lighter than a traditional variac. With universal 120/240Vac input, peak output currents above 40A and a continuous power rating of 3.5kVA, the solid state variac has many uses:

• Microgrids

• Power supply for noise sensitive equipment

• Utility test equipment (CT excitation source)

• Frequency converter for 400 Hz systems
